There are many reasons why coming to the clinic may not be possible
for you. No matter the reason, we strongly believe that taking action
sooner rather than later is better to ensure you optimize your health
and comfort and we have the technology to effectively assess and treat
you from a distance.
What you need:
Our video conference platform is secure & easy to use. All you
need is a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Prior to your appointment you
will receive an email with easy to follow instructions, simply click the
link & consent to the call.
What you can expect:
Your physiotherapist will listen to your story and discuss your
concerns with you and watch you move. Following the assessment, your
physiotherapist will educate you on your condition, teach you
rehabilitative exercises and/or discuss self-management strategies to
improve your condition.
How does payment work?
We are able to bill insurance directly. Otherwise, payment will be
accepted by credit card or etransfer. You will receive a receipt by
email or mail.
“I was having back pain I couldn’t get rid of and had received an email from Scotia that they were offering virtual physio during COVID-19 social distancing. Alison was able to assess over video that the root of my pain was in my neck and she guided me through a series of exercises to do in between appointments.
I couldn’t believe how effective it could be without in-person support, but have been telling everyone how glad I am that I tried it as the pain is now gone.”

“Telehealth Physiotherapy with Alison ensured COVID didn’t slow my recovery! Alison continued to identify my needs and tailor exercises, advice and even self-massage virtually. Most importantly, she continued to motivate me at a time I needed it most!!! Thank you Alison!”

“Video conferencing with Alison has been a real game changer for me during this pandemic. As a runner, it is important to me to continue following a physiotherapy program in order to get back to running as soon as possible. The PhysiApp is a great way for Alison to see me performing my exercises.and to provide feedback right away. I highly recommend Telehealth physiotherapy appointments with Scotia Physiotherapy as a safe and effective way to keep up with treatments!”
